German runners in France today

Plenty of German-trained runners at Saint-Cloud today, where the going is certain to be very soft. The best chances of a German winner would appear to be in the mile conditions race at 15.20 and in the 2100 metres claiming race at 16.25, with 4 German-trained runners in each. In the former event, Freminius (Werner Baltromei/ Dominique Boeuf), Setareh (Petr Olsanik /Rene Campos), Forthemillionkiss (Uwe Ostmann/ Yann Lerner) and the supplemented Beltanus (Friedel Willenbrock/ Johan Vic toire), face some tough local opposition, while in the latter Thanatos (Peter Schiergen/ Filip Minarik), Bee Keen (Dr. Bolte/ Henk Grewe), Classic Dancer( Michael Trybuhl/ Johan Victoire) and Manada (Baltromei/ Boeuf) are the German hopes. Both these races have large fields and look tricky, but a small each-way bet on Forthemillionkiss and Thanatos would be our suggestion.There are several more Germans running, with Palao (Werner Hefter/ Brigitte Renk) in the race for lady jockeys at 13.50 holdin g the best chance in our view.
