A.W. racing at Lingfield, Kempton and Wolverhampton

Three all-weather meetings today, in the early afternoon at Lingfield, early evening at Kempton and evening at Wolverhampton, allowing several jockeys to ride at 2 meetings (none at all 3 as far as we can see). Easily the best sport is at Lingfield, with 2 listed races. The 10 furlongs race that closes the card at 16.40 has even attracted a Group One winner, Presvis (Luca Cumani/ Kieren Fallon), who is being prepared for the Hong Kong meeting next month. In theory he has to win this, even though he is conceding weight to such useful performers as Tranquil Tiger (Henry Cecil/ Tom Queally) and Plum Pudding (Richard Hannon/ Ryan Moore). Kevin Ryan holds a strong hand in the 6 furlongs race at 16.05 with Arganil (Neil Callan) and Green Manalishi (Jamie Spencer). The former is unbeaten in 5 races on the all-weather, but his best form is all at 5 furlongs. However it may be that another all-weather specialist, Ceremonial Jade (Marco Botti/ Fallon) can defeat the pair of them.
