All-weather action this evening

There is all-weather action this evening at Wolverhampton and at Dundalk in Ireland, where the main event is a valuable handicap over 10 1/2 furlongs at 21.50 CET. Like all the 7 races on the card, this looks very open, but Pat Smullen certainly has a chance here on Dermot Weld´ s Bob´s Pride. However his rival for the Irish jockeys´ championship Johnny Murtagh could wrap things up this evening, as he appears to have a much better book or rodes, with Edwrd Lynam´s Iron Major at 20.00, Ger Lyons´ Shirley Blake at 20.30, Pat Flynn´s Impressionist Art at 21.30 and Peter Casey´s Inis Ceithleann at 22.25 all looking potential winners. Best race at Wolverhampton is the 1 1/2 mile handicap at 21.50, which is also wide open. Laterly (Steve Gollings/ Ian Mongan), Merchant of Dubai (Alan Swinbank/ Robert Winston) and Trip the Light (Richard Fahey/ Paul Hanagan) are the 3 for our short list. Elsewhere on the card Feeling Fragile (Pat Eddery/ Winston) and First Service (Roger Charlton/ Steve Drowne) look likely winning favourites in the maiden races at 20.50 and 21.20 respectively.
