Kempton and Lingfield (a.w.) and Leicester (turf)

Three meetings in the U.K. today, two of them on the all-weather, and Godolphin have runners at all three. It certainly seems significant that they have sent Frankie Dettori to Kempton for jiust one ride, Mutafajer in the 2yo maiden over 7 furlongs at 16.10 CET. This seems quite a decent maiden for the track, but obviously Mutafajer, 5th of 12 on his debut at Newbury, is the one to beat. Freddie Tylicki´s mount Silk Street looks the most dangerous opponent. Saeed bin Suroor´s runners at Lingfield are Chaperno (Ahmed Ajtebi) in the 2yo novice race over 6 furlongs at 14.20 and Treasure Tavern (Ted Durcan) in the 2yo maiden over a mile at 14.50. At Leicster, Godolphin have 2 of the 5 runners in the main event, a conditions race over 1 1/2 miles at 16.00. They are Once More Dubai (Alan Miunro) and Copperbeech (Daragh O´Donohoe). This is quite a tricky event, despite there being only 5 runners (2 of the others also Maktoum-owned) but Once More Dubai would win if he recovers his e arly season form at Nad al Sheba. The boys in blue also have a chance in the class 3 handicap for 3yo´s over a mile at 16.30 with top-weight Sovereign Remedy (O´Donohoe), but this looks a very open race.
