German runners in France today

Several more German runners try their luck today at Saint-Cloud, where the main feature is the Group Three Prix de Flore for fillies over 2100 metres at 14.50. German hope here is last year´s Winterkönigin Sworn Pro (Mario Hofer/ Dominique Boeuf), but this is a very strog field and she will do well to get placed. The British challengers, the Queen´s Enticement (Sir Michael Stoute/ Ryan Moore) and Take the Hint (John Gosden/ Stephane Pasquier) probably have better prospects, as do ex-German Andrea (Freddie Head/ Olivier Peslier) - who finished well in front of Sworn Pro in the Preis der Diana in July)- and the Aga Khan´s improving Shemilya (Alain de Royer-Dupré/ Christophe Lemaire), but the one to beat could be the German-bred La Boum (Robert Collet/ Thierry Jarnet), who finished 7th in the Arc. Other German runners here are Zosime (Nina Bach/ Kathi Werning) in the lady jockeys race at 14.20, Classical Song (Christian von der Recke/ Yann Lerner) in the conditions race over 300 0 metres at 15.20, and Exotic Dream (Andreas Trybuhl/ Lerner) and La Buena (Peter Schiergen/ Johan Victoire) in the 3yo claimer over 2400 metres at 16.25. It does not look easy for any of them, but possibly La Buena has the best chance.
