Irish racing today

There is flat racing today in Ireland at Gowran Park and N.H. racing from Navan. Main event is the Group Three race for fillies over 9 furlongs at 17.00 CET at Gowran Park. Aidan O´Brien and Sir Michael Stoute will doubtless be more interested in events at Ascot at that time, but their runners Roman Empress (Seamus Heffernan) and Ave (Richard Mullen) respectively look the two to beat here. There are some huge fields at Navan - 30 runners in 3 of the hurdles races- but in the better events normal size fields, and Ruby Walsh can land a double with the top-weights Oscar Dan Dan for Tony Mullins at 16.20 and Reisk Superman for Tony Martin at 17.25.
