German runners in France today

Yesterday´s German raid on Nancy was not greatly successful, with only one winner (and that surprisingly over jumps) from 21 runners, and today another 22 German-trained horses run in the Lorraine capital. Kimbar (Ira Ferentschak/ Dominique Boeuf) runs in the tiercé handicap over 2400 metres at 13.40, while Boeuf rides Zosime for Nina Bach in a handicap for 3yo´s over 1350 metres half an hour later. No fewer than 7 of the 14 runners in the 1950 metres race for 3yo maidens at 15.10 are German -trained. Four more run in the conditions race over the same trip at 15.40 and three in the race for 3yo maidens over 2400 metres at 16.10, including La Poesie (Werner Baltromei/ Boeuf), in our opinion the best German chance of the day. Ther are 3 more German runners in the claimer for 3yo´s at 16.40 and four more in the secnd division of the 2400 metres handicap at 17.10, where possibly Night Heart can complete a double for Baltromei and Boeuf. There are also three German runners at Comp iegne today.
