Windsor, Yarmouth and Roscommon (Ireland) this evening

The 5 furlongs handicap at 19.35 CET at Windsor, with 11 runners, looks the best betting race of the evening. Rocket Rob (Simon Callaghan/ Richard Hughes) won nicely at Sandown last time and has an obvious chance, but top-weight The Jobber (Maurice Blanshard/ Dane O´Neill) and Sharp Bullet (Walter Swinburn / Shane Kelly) both look dangerous. Richard Hughes, who has a good record here, looks in any case the jockey to follow, as Candleshoe at 18.35, Cumana Bay at 20.05, Karoush at 20.35 and Caster Sugar at 21.05, all trained by Richard Hannon, all hold chances. There is a very poor card at Yarmouth with some small fields and little betting appeal. The 6 furlongs maiden here at 19.20 should lie between seasonal debutant Albaseet (Marcus Tregoning/ Tadhg O´Shea) and Hightime Heroine (Jeremy Noseda/ Jamie Spencer). The fields are much bigger at Roscommon´s mixed meeting (3 flat races, 3 over hurdles and a bumper), but winners look hard to find. Grman-breds Richard the First (Tom D oyle/ Mark Darcy) and Isabellareine (Mervyn Torrens/ Andrew Thornton) should have each-way chances in the hurdle race at 20.30 and 21.00 respectively.
