Irish racing today

There is flat racing this afternoon at Fairyhouse and a mixed meeting (4 flat races, 3 over hurdles) at Cork. There are some good 2yo´s on view at Fairyhouse, where the main event is the Group Two Futurity over 7 furlongs at 17.50 CET, which should go to Aidan O´Brien´s unbeaten Capo Blanco (Johnny Murtagh). O´Brien and his stable jockey can also expect to win the 2yo maiden at 16.35 with debutant Dynasty, who is apparently highly-rated. The valuable Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes at 17.20 should go to a British stable, as Richard Hannon´s Dick Turpin (Richard Hughes), unbeaten in 3 races, looks the obvious winner; however In Some Respect (Andrew Oliver/ Pat Smullen) could be a danger in receipt of 7 lbs. John Oxx has 3 runners in the listed race over 1 3/4 miles at 18.50 and the Aga Khan´s Alandi (Mick Kinane) looks the pick of them; Ghimaar (Dermot Weld/ Pat Smullen), moving up in grade after an easy win at Galway, is the danger. At Cork, we like the look of Gra Gael Mo C hroi (Augustine Leahy/ Joseph O´Brien) in the mile handicap at 15.45, while Jessica Harrington and jockey Robbie Power can land a double over hurdles with No One Tells Me at 18.00 and Boragh Princess half an hour later.
