N.H. racing today

There is no flat racing in the U.K. today, but jumps racing at Plumpton, Southwell and Uttoxeter, all at a relatively low level. Main interest at Southwell will be in the chasing debut of smart staying hurdler Hills of Aran (Keith Goldsworthy/ Rhys Flint), who runs in the opening beginners chase over 3 miles at 15.20 CET. At Uttoxeter, Factotum (Jonjo O´Nell/Tony McCoy), beaten in his first two starts over hurdles, can finally get his head in front in the novice hurdle at 15.00, and the same goes for Wade Farm Billy (Gary and Jamie Moore) in the maiden hurdle at 15.40 at Plumpton. There is also N.H. racing at Killarney in Ireland, where the top team of Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh can take the main event, a 2 1/2 mile chase at 17.05 with Snowy Morning, who has been running in much better company. Ex-German Dr Spieler has a good chance in the maiden hurdle here at 15.35, although there is as usual a huge field.
