Lingfield (a.w.), Newton Abbot (H.H.) and Killarney (Ireland) this evening

Some quite interesting handicaps at Lingfield this evening, and Jeremy Noseda has good chances of winning two of them with the lightly-raced The Galloping Shoe (Seb Sanders) under top-weight at 19.50 CET, and Lemon n Sugar (Shane Kelly) in the fillies´ event half an hour later. The race over 1 mile 5 furlongs at 20.50 ses the two top-weights Manshoor (Lucy Wadham/ William Buick) and Art Man (Gary and Ryan Moore) once again in opposition. Last time out here over 10 furlongs Manshoor won easily, but is now 4 lbs worse off, but he may be better suited by this longer trip and can win again. Over jumps at Newton Abbot, the novice chase over 2 miles at 20.00 looks between Conflictofinterest (Paul Ncholls/ Harry Skelton) and Shore Thing (Charlie Egerton/ Tony McCoy). Nicholls can also take the hunter chase an hour later with Ofarel d´Airy (Oliver Greenall); although he has to concede lumps of weight - this is a rare handicap - he is clearly the class horse in this field. In Ireland, there is a mixed meeting (3 N.H. races followed by 4 on the flat) at Killarney.

The novice chase over 2 3/4 miles at 19.40 has a large field, but the top-weights Aggies Lad (Tony Martin/ Robbie Power) and Peplum (Edward O´Grady/ Andrew McNamara) can dominate; both won last time out, and Aggies Lad holds Peplum on that form. On the flat, German-bred Audrey is an interesting runner in the 3yo maiden at 20.10. The grey daughter of Sholokhov disappointed on her seasonal debut, but showed some ability last year and could be sharp enough to score this time.
