fog at Yarmouth

it is currently foggy at Yarmouth, where the only flat racing in Britain and Ireland today takes place. Should racing go ahead, the most interesting event is probably the opening mile maiden for fillies at 15.20 CET. Although not restricted to this age group, all 12 runners ar 3yo´s and the best public form has been shown by Wadaat (Clive Brittain/ Neil Callan), who has two good performances on the all-weather to her credit. However some interesting well-bred newcomers add spice to the race, in particular Sana Abel (Michael Jarvis/ Richard Hills), who is a half-sister and also daughter to Oaks winners. Jarvis and Hills also have good prospects in the 5 furlongs 3yo handicap at 16.50 with Aakof, who like top-weight Bouvardia (Henry Cecil/ Tom Queally) has not raced for some time but won at this track over 6 furlongs last year. On current form, Captain Carey (Malcolm Saunders/ Tom McLaughlin) and Theatre Street (Jeremy Noseda/ Neil Callan) must also be considered.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Wadaat - Sana Abel - Hisaronu
2. Race: Special Cuvee - Dead Cat Bounce - Wabi Sabi
3. Race: Lovely Thought - Billy Beetroot - King Of Defence
4. Race: Captain Carey - Aakef - Bouvardia
5. Race: Blockley - Kokkokila - Dart
6. Race: Bullet Man - Dark Prospect - Eton Fable
