German runners at Le Croise-Laroche

There are German-trained runners in 5 of the 8 races at Le Croisé-Laroche and quite possibly some winners. Kerima (Erika Mäder/ Henk Grewe)and Goodnitesleeptight (Christian von der Recke/ Johan Victoire) both run in the 3yo maiden over 1100 metres at 14.20, while von der Recke and Victoire team up again with Ribello in the 1800 metres claimer for 3yo´s an hour later. Despite his 13 years, we feel that Standby Dancer could run well in the long distance event, especially if the ground is soft, and at the likely odds he is in our view t he best German bet of the day.
