German runners at Deauville

Deauville´s spring meeting on fibresand continues today with a fairly low-level card of 7 races. There are German runners in two of them, both claiming races over 1500 metres with 16 runners. Mario Hofer´s Agent Almeida (Dominique Boeuf) goes for the race for 4yo´s at 14.20, while Erika Mäder´s Esposito (Henk Grewe) and Andreas Löwe´s Shake Hands (Christophe Soumillon) are both entered in the race for older horses at 16.20. Both races look tricky, but the Germans should acquit themselves well, with Agent Almeida probably having the best chance.
