Atlantic Racer at Saint-Cloud

Atlantic Racer (Horst Steinmetz/ Johan Victoire) is the only German-trained runner today in France, he contests the mile handicap at 13.50 at Saint-Cloud. When trained last year by Miroslav Rulec, Stall Florida´s 4yo won twice in the French provinces and must have chances of finishing in the money today, but like all these tiercé handicaps, this ia fiercely open race with 18 runners. Another race of interest is the Prix du Debut over 900 metres at 14.50, the first (?) race of the year for 2yo´s. However most of the runners represent small stables and we shall have to wait some time before the better juveniles make their appearance.
