All-weather action at Lingfield and Wolverhampton

There is all-weather racing this afternoon at Lingfield and this evening at Wolverhampton, but once again the racing is very short of quality. The two most interesting races at Lingfield come right at the end and are class 4 handicaps with only 6 runners each. All of them running in the 5 furlongs handicap at 17.40 CET are CD winners, but on recent form Chjimes (Conor Dore/ Liam Keniry) stands out. He has won 3 of his last 4 races, all here and with this rider aboard and seems equally effective over 5 and 6 furlongs. He has twice recently finished in front of Fromsong (Dean Ivory/ JD O´Reilly) and although the latter is better off, it is hard to see him improving much at the age of 11. A bigger threat could be Qadar (Nick Littmoden/ James Doyle), runner-up here last time out. The 3yo handicap over 10 furlongs at 18.20 looks quite tricky. Ladies Dancing (Jamie Osborne/ Shane Kelly) won his only start- this CD- but is difficult to assess. Lord Chancellor (Mark Johnston/ Greg Fa irley) won his maiden well here, but was slightly disappointing next time out, and perhaps Fongs Alibi (Stan Moore/ Martin Dwyer), the form of whose win over a mile here is working out well, could be the answer, despite the step up in distance.

Betting forecast Lingfield:
1. Race: Bold Diva - Cavalry Guard - Fairly Honest
2. Race: Phoenix Flight - Apache Fort - Sunset Boulevard
3. Race: Rough Sketch - Sir Liam - Stoop To Conquer
4. Race: Jawaaher - Super Academy - Head Down
5. Race: Saints Bay - Private Passion - Miss Tikitiboo
6. Race: Chjimes - Qadar - Fromsong
7. Race: Lord Chancellor - Ladies Dancing - Fong`S Alibi

At Wolverhampton the main event also comes at the end of the card, a class 3 handicap over 1 1/2 miles at 22.20. The interesting ones here are the two top-weights Humble Opinion (Alan King/ Martin Dwyer) and La Estrella (Don Cantillon/ Dane O´Neill). The former has not run on the flat since winning at York´s May meeting, but has run poorly over hurdles in the meantime. La Estrella was beaten at Kempton last time after winning 5 times in succession; he stays well and is still on a fair handicap mark.

Betting forecast Wolverhampton:
1. Race: Harry Up - Blue Tomato - Came Back
2. Race: Street Power - Smirfys Systems - Red Cape
3. Race: Silca Meydan - Circle Dance - The Last Alzao
4. Race: Barcode - Dark Oasis - High Cross
5. Race: Whodunit - Amber Moon - Tabulate
6. Race: Humble Opinion - La Estrella - Count Trevisio
