Wolverhampton today

Wolverhampton stages the only all-weather racing today, and even diehard fans will find it hard to get enthused by today´s card, which consists entirely of class 5 and 6 races. In our opinion Brouhaha (Tom Dascombe/ Ross Atkinson), who runs in the apprentice handicap over 9 1/2 furlongs at 16.10 CET, is the best bet on the card. The 5yo had never won before this year, but has now won two successive races over this CD - his only starts at this track- and can complete his hat-trick against today´s modest opposition. Mark Johnston rarely goes home without a winner these days and can land a double in the maiden races at 17.10 and 17.40 with Badge of Honour (Greg Fairley) and Ettrick Mill (Joe Fanning); in each case the main danger comes from the Jamie Osborne stable - National Monument (Chris Catlin) and the well-bred debutant Lords a Leaping (Shane Kelly) respectively.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Russian Symphony - Perlachy - Grimes Faith
2. Race: Gurteen Diamond - Little Lost - Circle Dance
3. Race: Brouhaha - Monfils Monfils - Hucking Heat
4. Race: Just Jimmy - Mister Trickster - Ardent Prince
5. Race: Badge Of Honour - Dollar Express - National Monument
6. Race: Ettrick Mill - Divinatore - Sign Of Approval
7. Race: Man Of Gwent - Eseej - Morbick
