rest of Kempton

Kempton also stages three highly interesting Grade Two races, all of which could have a bearing on Cheltenham´s N.H. festival. In the novice hurdle at 15.05, all eyes will be on leading Cheltenham fancy Ainama (Nicky Henderson/ Barry Geraghty), an impressive CD winner on his debut. He receives weight from the useful Alfie Flits (Alan Swinbank/ Brian Hughes) and Dee ee Williams (Nick Gifford/ Liam Treadwell), winner and fourth in a Haydock Grade Two last time, while smart flat performer Alazari (Terry Mills/ Jamie Moore) is an interesting debutant. Shoild Ainama win, that would be a clear pointer to Hebridean´s chances in the 4yo hurdle at 16.45, as the Paul Nicholls/ Ruby Walsh contestant was runner-up on that occasion. He was group class on the flat and can win this, in receipt of weight from ex-French Helium (Gifford/ Treadwell), easy winner of both his British starts so far. Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty are represented here by Excape, who was bogged down in the mud l ast time, but should shape much better on today´s faster ground. There are only 4 runners in the novice chase over 2 1/2 miles at 15.35, and Herecomesthetruth, winner of 4 of his 5 starts this season, can be another winner for Nicholls/ Walsh team. However Ouzbeck (Alan King/ Robert Thornton), another who cannot act on very soft ground, is the best here on ratings, can score here.
