Market Rasen and Sedgefield abandoned

To nobody´s great surprise, today´s N.H. meetings at Market Rasen and Sedgefield have been abandoned, leaving the all-weather fixture at Southwell as the only racing in Britain today. The outlook for the next few days also looks pretty grim. Ludlow´ s meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) has already been cancelled, while Carlisle looks very doubtful. Prospects are slightly better for tomorrow´s N.N. meeting in Down Royal (N. Ireland)
