German runners at Cagnes-sur-mer

The German challengers on the first two days of the Cagnes-sur-mer meeting made very litlle impression (ten runners, none placed!) and Werner Baltromei will be hoping for better luck today, when he saddles a further four runners (one of them under the name of Sid-Ali Ghoumrassi). Samiro runs in the opening tiercé handicap for 4yo´s over 2000 metres at 13.50, and as Dominique Boeuf cannot do the weight, will be partnered by Jerome Lermyte. Boeuf rides the other three, Stillbai in the claiming race for 3yo fillies at 15.20, Song of Tiger in the conditions race for 4yo´s at 15.50 and Journey Time in the second division of the handicap. All these races will be run over 2000 metres on the fibregrass track. Although he is running in the toughest race, Samiro has possibly the best chance, as Song of Tiger, who had good form here last winter, is coming off a long break.
