Catterick off, Cheltenham and Fakenham on

Today´s N.H. fixture at Catterck has been called off because of frozen ground, but both Cheltenham (easily the day´s best card) and Fakenham have passed an early morning inspection and racing goes ahead at those tracks. We are still waiting on news from Exeter, where there is an all-hurdles card, as a second inspection has been called. There are no problems with the two Irish fixtures at Fairyhouse and Tramore, while there is also flat racing on the all-weather from Southwell. With the cold weather continuing, there are doubts about several of the scheduled fixtures for Friday and Saturday in the U.K.
