Big fields at Cagnes today

After two fixtures at Cagnes-sur-mer´s winter jumps meeting had to be abandoned last week becuase of the bad weather, there are not suprisingly big fields for all 8 races there today. Although there are no German-trained horses running, there are several runners with German connections, including Stall Australia´s (Stephan Hoffmeister´s) Neander (Yannick Fertillet/ Xavier Hondier) in the main event, a listed chase over 4300 metres at 15.20. Fly my Dream (Romain Bonnet), ex-Mario Hofer and now trained by JP Gallorini, runs in the hurdle race for 3yo fillies at 14.50, and Altamirano (Alexis Marcurol), ex- Werner Baltromei and a winner here last week, runs in the handicap hurdle at 16.20 for trainer P.Lenogue.
