all-weather action at Southwell and Wolverhampton.

Today´s all-weather flat racing comes from Southwell in the afternoon and Wolverhampton in the evening, but neither meeting offers any real highlights. The best race at Soiuthwell is the class 4 handicap over 6 furlongs at 15.45 CET. This looks wide open and all 10 runnersa are in with a chance, from top-weight Charles Parnell (Michael Dods/ Dale Gibson) to bottom weight Kensington (David Evans/ Patrick Donaghy), with Steel City Boy (Derek Shaw/ Jim Crowley) an obvious alternative. Best bet at Southwell should be Came Back (Jonathan Gask/ Darryll Holland) in the 6 furlongs seller at 14.00. He is having his first race for new connections, but stands out here on ratings. At Wolverthampton the class 3 handicap over 7 furlong which closes proceedings at 22.20 is the best race, and again any of the 10 runners could win. Aeroplane (Simon Callaghan/ Jamie Spencer) has been running in better company and deserves a win, but the improving 3yo Mister New York (Noel Chance/ Jim Crowley) and bottom-weight Perfect Act (Clive Cox/ Hayley Turner) are two live dangers. There ar quite a few Irish-trained runners entered here, most interesting of which could be the German-bred Sly Tiger (Mike Halford/ GF Carroll) in the opening apprentices handicap at 19.50.
