N.H. racing in England and Ireland

Two jumps meetimgs today, but while the ground at Huntingdon (in eastern England) is fast, it is very testing at Punchestown in Ireland. Even so, the better racing takes place at the Irish track, where Forpadytheplasterer(Thomas Cooper/ Davy Russell) will be the centre of attention when he contests the beginners chase at 16.15 CET. He was one of the best novice hurdlers last season, winning a Grade One and finishing 4th at Cheltenham, and is expected to have a glittering career over fences. The rest of the Punchestown meeting, where there are maximum fields in most races, could belong to trainer Noel Meade and his stable jockey Paul Carberry, who appear to have winning chances in 4 races - Fisher Bridge at 14.15, Pandorama at 14.45, Dan Dare at 15.15 and Shiloh at 16.45.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Fisher Bridge - Schofield - Lenabane
2.Race: Pandorama - Head Of The Posse - Kennel Bridge
3.Race: Bob Lingo - Dan Dare - Mr Sykes
4.Race: Paddy The Ref - Gusda - Farringdon
5.Race: Forpadydeplasterer - Narquois - Your Sum Man
6.Race: Shiloh - Sandyzar - Mac Robin
7.Race: Steel Park - Sibenek - No Pasa Nada

At Huntingdon, the most interesting event could be the novice hurdle at 15.50, where Alan King´s useful prospect Levera (Robert Thornton) has to give weight to some horses with potential, notably Bolodenka (Richard Fahey/ Denis O´Regan), a useful flat handicapper who fell on his only hurdles start. Later on, Jonjo O´Neill and Tony McCoy can combine to win the two staying handicaps with Can´t Buy Time (over fences) at 16.20 and Nostringsattached (over sticks) half an hour later.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Tuanku - Starluck - Joshua
2.Race: Green Wadi - Rock Me - Terrasini
3.Race: Oso Magic - Abutilon - Bonchester Bridge
4.Race: Levera - Bolodenka - Overrule
5.Race: Can`T Buy Time - Porters War - Sea Eagle
6.Race: Fakima - Nostringsattached - Cresswell Ruby
7.Race: Another Ambition - Roznic - Bafana Boy
