Rest of UK and Ireland

there is plenty more good racing today, notably at Chester and Goodwood, which each stage two listed races, while there are some decent handicaps at Great Leighs. The meetings at Tramore (N.H.) and Kempton (all-weather under floodlights) are less inspiring. The 6 furlongs race at 16.20 at Goodwood sees Godolkphin´s Asset (Ted Durcan) make a late seasonal reappearance; on his best form of last year he would have a outstanding chance, but with the poor stable form and the long layoff it may be more sensible to go for soft ground specilalist Sonny Red (Richard Hannon/ Steve Drowne). Godolphin and Durca also team up with the unbeaten Anmar in the mile race for 2yo´s at 15.50, but here faces strong opposition from Richard Hannon and Mick Channon, who each saddle two runners. At Chester, Alan berry´s stable star Look Busy (Slade O´Hara) goes for her 7th race of the season in the fillies´ 6 furlongs race at 16.30, but her best trip seems to be five furlongs and Manzile (David Nichol ls/ Silvstre de Sousa) can outbattle her. Godolphin also field two candidates here in the 1 1/2 miles race at 17.05; Veracity (Chris Catlin) has not run since finishing 5th in last year´s St. Leger, while Crime Scene (William Buick), a soft ground specialist, could go well; however Foxhaven (Paul Chamings/ Franny Norton) who took this in 2006, but has not win since, could be the answer this time
