since our last report, weather conitions have further deteriorated at York and today´s card has been abandoned as the track is now waterlogged in places. Tomorrow´s card is also in danger and an inspection will be held this afternoon. The news is no better in Ireland, where the first day of Tralee´s final festival fixture has also been abandoned, and tomorrow´s racing is likewise threatened. The one piece of good news is that today´s Newton Abbot fixture goes ahead after an early morning inspection, but this can hardly make up for the loss of one of the best cards of the year at York.
