Hamilton and Sandown this evening

Best race this evening at Hamilton is the class 3 mile fillies handicap at 20.25 CET, and although there are only 6 runners, it looks wide open. Nutkin (James Fanshawe/ Jamie Spencer) defeated Badalona (Michael Bell/ PJ McDonald) last time out at Ascot but at the revised weights there should be little beween them now. Consistent Hula Ballew (Michael Dods/ Neil Brown) and Insaaf (William Haggas/ Tony Culhane) aso cme nto the equation, although it could be significant that Spencer comes here for just one ride, rather than ride at the better Sandown meeting, where the class 3 handicap for 3yo´s over 7 furlongs at 20.10 looks the best race. Top weight Brassini (Rod Millman/ Alan Munro), last-time-out winners Nezami (Brian Meehan/ Dane O´Neill) and Divine Power (Ralph Beckett/ Adam Kirby) as well as consistent Araban Spirit (Ed Dunlop/ Ryan Moore) all have chances in a tricky race. There could be some interesting runners in the 2yo maiden over the same distance at 19.35, where Too Tall (Luca Cumani/ Dane O´Neill), a good runner-up on his debut at Newmarket 18 days ago, is the choice on public form. However the well-bred newcomers could be dangerous, though one must hope for the sake of the commentator that Leulahleulahlay (Mark Johnston/ Frankie Dettori) does not get involved!
