German runners in France today

flat racing this afternoon at Clairefontaine and Vichy (also trotting this evening at Cabourg), with German participation at both meetings. At Vichy there is only one German-trained runner, Conny Brandstättter´s 2yo Mirageleve (Antoine Sanglard) over 1600 metres at 14.35, but there are several at Clairefontaine, where Michel Trybuhl and William Mongil team up with Arkando in the tiercé handicap over 2400 metres at 13.50 and Lone Star in a race for 3yo colts over 1800 metres at 16.00. In the equivalent race for fillies at 14.20 Mario Hofer saddles Additional (Andreas Suborics), while daughter Steffi partners Orlik for Christian von der Recke in the claiming race for lady riders at 17.05. Hans Blume´s Qui Dancer (Katharina Werning) and Pavel Vovcenko´s Spejbl (Erika Branecka) are also engaged in the same race.
