Bath, Folkestone and Sandown this evening

Both Bath and Folkestone stage only class 5 and 6 races this evening. At Bath the most interesting runner couild be Night Rocket (Andrew Balding/ David Probert), who makes her handicap debut in the 5 furlongs fillies handicap at 21.35 CET. A narrow winner at Wolverhampton last time, this sister to the useful Dark Missile would not have to be up to that class to win against this evening´s opposition. At Folkestone, Seb Sanders shpuld be the jockey to follow and has three good winning chances on Si Mark Prescott´s Casual Garcia in the staying handicap at 19.05, Peter Makin´s El Fuser in the 7 furlongs handicap at 20.10 and Brian Meehan´s Galpin Junior in the 2yo maiden at 20.45. The racing is of better standard at Sandown, where the class 3 handicap for 3yo´s over 10 furlongs at 20.55 looks very open. Sir Michael Stoute´s Ascot Lime (Ryan Moore) was runner-up over this CD 3 weeks ago and is likely to start favourite, but faces strong opposition from the last-time-out winners Tanto Faz (William Haggas/ Liam Jones), Qui Moi (James Fanshawe/ Dane O´Neill) and Light from Mars (Rod Millman/ Darryll Holland).
