Rest of U.K. today

The remaining races are all of relative minor interest compared to the goings-on at Goodwood and Galway. There is flat racing this afternoon at Redcar and N.H. racing from Perth, while this eveing thee is racing at Leicester and on the all-weather at Kempton. The best race at these meetings is probably the mile handicap at Kempton at 21.30 CET, with a maximum field of 14 declared. The Fifth Member (James Boyle/ Ted Durcan) ran a great race when 3rd of 20 yesterday at Goodwood and if he turns out can again figure prominently, but preference is for two lightly-raced types, Premio Loco (Chris Wall/ George Baker) and Rose Street (Michael Jarvis/ Philip Robinson).
