Iolith and Loup de Mer at Clairefontaine

There is flat racing in France this afternoon at La Teste and a mixed meeting at Clairefontaine, where the first four races are over jumps and the last four on the flat. Gestüt Schlenderha´s Iolith (André Fabre/ Johan Victoire) can win the first flat race, a conditions event for 3yo´s over 2200 metres at 15.50; he created a very favourable impression when winning first time out at Longchamp. In the final race at 17.20, a seller over 2400 metres, Werner Baltromei´s Loup de Mer (Dominique Boeuf) has an obvious chance. He has not run for 4 months, but with the stable back in form, he should be too strong for this opposition.
