Sandown and York

By the normal standards at Sandown and York, today´s cards are not especially inviting, with no rac es better than class 3 and both stage much better racing tomorrow. At York, the 5 furlongs handicap at 17.35 looks typicall trappy with 19 runners, and luc in running will certainly play a major part. Two with chances at any rate are latt-time-out winner Total Impact (Richard Fahey/ Paul Hanagan), who won a similar evnt at Doncaster 13 days ago, and Everymanforhimself (Kevin Ryan(/ Neil Callan), second of 18 over this CD the same day. There are only 8 runners in the 2 mile handicap at 16.25, but it also looks quoite open. With Tim Easterby´s yard in good form, he can possibly score here with Bollin Felix (David Allan), who made a god seasonal debut recently over a shorter trip, but is better suoited by this distance. At Sandown, Mexican venture (William Jarvis/ Jamie Spencer), a bit unlucky last time out, can make amends in the mile handicap for 3yo´s at 16.50, and the same trainer´s El Duende (Tom Queally) can also go close in a huge field for the 10 furlongs handicap also for 3yo´s at 17.55; but Sir Michael Stoute´s Heritage Coast (Ryan Moore) looks the more likely winner here.
