Big race in France today is the Group Three Prix du Palais Royal over 7 furlongs at 16.15 CET at Longchamp. Tiza (Alain de Royer-Dupré/ Christophe Soumillon) has a good chance here to make amends for a rather unhappy ride by Soumillon at Baden-Baden two weeks ago. The main opposition comes from England: Garnica (David Nicholls/ Stephane Pasquier), Captain Marvellous (Barry Hills/ Thierry Thulliez) ad in parzicular CD specialist Welsh Emperor (Tom Tate/ Ioritz Mendizibal) could make life difficult for him. There are no German runners in this race, but plenty on the undercard.
