Huge fields today

A busy Saturday, with 7 British meetings (two in the evening) and one Irish. Only Hexham has a full N.H. card, but both Haydock and Downpatrick have a mixed meeting. With the exception of the classic trials at Lingfield, there are generally large, and in some cases, huge fields despite the firming ground. With manly low level racing at Hexham and Downpatrick, and this evening at Warwick and Thirsk, we shall concentrate on the top meetings at Lingfield, Ascot, Haydock and Nottingham.
