Brighton, Southwell and Yarmouth

Brirish racing this afternoon comes from Btrighton, Yarmouth and Southwell (all-weather), three tracks which normally stage only low level racing, as is the case today. Several specialists clash in the class 3 5 furlomgs handoap at 16.20 CET, notably Tartatartufata (Derek Shaw/ Dane O´Neil), who won twice over this trip here in January and has generally run well since in some quite decent events. Bo McGinty (Richard HJHahey/ Paulö Hanagan) was a CD here last time out, while Lord Hereford (Dean Ivory/ Robert Havlin) is very reliable. Top-weight Xpres Maite (Steve Bowring/ Phillip Makin) is much inproved and has won 5 of his last 7 races, but they were all over longer trips. The Hills family can be to the fore in Yarmouth. Jphn Hills saddles two runners with good chances, Ledgerwood (Jack Doyle) in the seller at 17.00 and Speyside, with brother Michael in the saddle, in the 3yo maioden over 10 furlongs half an hour later, while Michael´s twin Richard can take the 7 furlongs handicap at 16.00 aboard top-weight and unbeaten Musaalem for Willie Haggas. At Brighton, another CD spevcialist can add to hsi excellent record here - Prince Valentine in the mile handicap at 16.40. Ryan Moore is always dangerous when he teams up with father Gary. Summer of Love (Fergus Sweeney) looks interesting in the 1 1/2 mile handicap at 17.10; trainer Alan King does very well when he runs his hurdles winners on the flat.
