Perth, third and final day

Today is also the third and final day of Perth´s big meeting, but there are only 5 runners in the class 2 novicew chase at 15.40, which should be dominated by Modicum (Nicky Richards/ Rose Davidson) ands Marodima (Paul Nicholls/ Sam Thomas). The most spectacular race is te Highland National over 3 miles 7 furlongs at 17.35,which has attracte 18 runners. Hello Bud (Derek Wintle/ WillieMcCarthy) has won three races in a row and appears to be still improving. Michael Scudamore´s reliable Finzi (John Kington) is a bit of a plodder but stays for ever and should run into a place. Stamina is also required in the conditional jockeys handicap hurdle over 3 miles 3 furlongs at 16.55. Solway Bee (Miss L. Harrison/Ewan Whillans) was an easy winner here on Wednesday, while Kings Rock ( John Holt/ Tom Messenger) is on a hat-trick, but neither are proven over the distance, while Paul Nicholls´ So Now (Harry Skelton) stays well and could come out on top.
