German runners in France today

after another German success yesterday (Fareion at Longchamp),German-trained runners turn out in mass today at Maisons-Laffitte and more successes could be on thre way. In the opening tiercé handicap over 2400 metres at 13.50 CET, Lord John (Werner Baltromei/ Dominique Boeuf) and Spectra (Miroslav Rulec/ Olivier Peslier) take their chances, while in the following mile race Peslier teams up with Uwe Stoltefuss´ Ler Big, with Wlettrümer (Andreas Trybuhl/ William MOPmngil) and Tumult (Erika Mäder/ Lennart Hammer-Hansen) also entered. Baltromei has three more runners later on, Samiro in a race for 3yo colts over 2100 metres at 14.50 and Lady Marian in a similar race for fillies an hour later, both with Dominique Boeuf in bthe saddle, and Vicchio in the mile handicap with Antony Crastus. There is also trotting from Enghien.
