German runners in France today

Flat racing this afternoon in France at Saint-Cloud and Lyon, with German runners at both meetings. At Lyon Dieter Fechner saddles Mosles (Franck Foresi) in a mile handicap for 3yo´s at 15.35 CET and Pegmalion (Íoritz Mendizibal) in a handicap for older horses over the same distance an hour later. At Saint-Cloud, Horst Steinmetz´ Nasibow (Dominique Boeuf) and Britta Fellermann´s Sagitario (Henk Grewe), who have already met in France this year, clash again in a conditions race over 2800 metres at 14.20. Regine Weismmeier saddles Download (Johan Victoire)in a mile race for 3yo´s at 14.50, while Peter Remmert´s Donna Gina (Maria Papke) runs in a ladies race over 2100 metres at 16.20; in the same event Kati Werning partners Satwa Duke for trainer Jean de Roualle. Possibly the best German bet of the day is Mario Hofer´s Famous (Boeuf) in the 1400 metres seller at 16.50, where ex-German Arrow with Christophe Soumillon in the saddle looks the main threat. There is also trotting this evening from Vincennes.
