German runners at Nancy

Racing in France today comes from Nancy (flat) and Vincennes (trotting). With the Lorraine capital in easy reach of the German border, there are no fewer than 15 German-trained runners at Nancy today. 7 of them contest the same race over 2400 metres at 16.00 CET: Sagitario (Britta Fellermann/ Henk Grewe), Wellinas (Werner Hefter/ Maxime Guyon), Nasibow (Horst Steinmetz/Dominique Boeuf), Spectra (Miroslav Rulec/ Andreas Suborics), Albarello (Werner Hefter/ Jean-Pierre Carvalho), Montirat (Horst Steinmetz/ Davy Bonilla) and Proncess Petra (Miroslav Rulec/ Alxi Badel). Another 5 line up in the 1950 metres handicap at 17.30: Fancy Running (Andreas Trybuhl/ Subi), Gonezoon (Sascha Smcrzek/ Grewe), Colombe d´Or (Hefter/ Carvalho), Zolinas (Wolfgang Gülcher/ Eric Wehrel) and Londra (Smcrzek/ David Breux). The other German runners are Ebulolo (Dr. Bolte/ Boeuf) in the opening 1950 metres racefor 3yo´s, Pracani (Smcrzek/ Breux) and Standby Dancer (Dr. Bolte/ Carvalho) in the 2400 metres seller at 15.30, and Manfred Weber´s chaser Allez Hopp (Philippe Suard) over 4200 metres at 15.00.
Several of these have chances, our vote for the most likely German winner goes to the veteran Standby Dancer.
