France today

There is no flat racing in France today; the 3 PMU meetings come from Enghien (N.H.) and Cavaillon (trotting) in the afternoon and Vincennes (trotting) in the evening. The best card is at Enghien, where there are 2 listed races both worth more than 40,000 euros to the winner: a hurdles race for older horses over 3800 metres at 14.50 CET and a steeplechase for 4yo´s over the same distance an hour later, in which F.M. Cottin´s Oculi (Dean Gallagher) will probably start a hot favourite. In between there is a selling hurdle for 3yo fillies over 3300 metres, in which Cottin´s La Belle Rousse has a chance; she will be ridden by William Mongil, better known as a flat jockey
