N.H. racing at Thurles in Ireland today, with huge fields in all 7 races. An interesting ex-German runner is Maximo (Tom McCourt/ M.J. Bolger), who runs in the opening maiden hurdle at 15.35 CET. He made no show in the winter in 3 races on very heavy ground, but the going - though still soft- is much better now and he recently ran well when runner-up on the all-weather. Willie Mullins and Davy Condon can team up to score a double with Taipan´s Way in the maiden hurdle at 16.05 and Orge d´Ete in the beginners chase at 17.10.
